Transitions can look “fine” on the outside…
but internally it’s like your brain lost its usual grip.

Less structure.
More unknowns.
And suddenly everything feels a little louder, a little harder to land.

For ADHD brains especially, this is where things can start to spiral —not because you’re doing anything wrong, but because your system is missing a few key supports.

It’s not about having it all figured out right now.
It’s about staying connected to yourself while things are shifting.

Small structure.
Intentional movement/engagement.
Tiny moments of follow-through.

That’s the work here.

tiny shifts > full life overhauls

my brain doesn’t need a brand new routine each week
it needs something interesting enough to engage with

same walk
just a new hill → suddenly I’m paying attention, more regulated, more in it

that’s how a lot of ADHD brains work
not about doing more… but changing the input

I don’t stay calm because I have it all figured out.
I stay more regulated because I’ve learned how to work with my nervous system — not against it.

One of the simplest ways I do that? Walking.

Not in a “optimize your life” way…
more like “I need to not spiral right now.”

A few things it actually helps with:

• Moves stress through your body (instead of sitting in it)
• Softens the intensity — things feel less loud, less urgent
• Builds self-trust (“I can show up for myself”)

It’s simple, but it adds up.

If you look like you’re holding it together… but internally it feels like a lot — you’re not the only one.
