Inviting you to join us on our very intimate Retreat to Isa Sina Traditional Medicine School in Peru. We have 2 slots left. Dates are flexible as long as they fall within the window of September 28-October 28. 2 weeks interval minimum. We will be there the whole month working on our own dieta. Dieta is an intimate way to build a relationship with plants, the land and yourself. We are blessed to have an incredible maestro Douglas and his fascinating lineage. His and our goals is to bridge the relationship between people and everything around us - plants, trees, energy, spirit, the land, insects, animals, waters, winds and fire. You are invited to cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself and with the help of plants and your dreams be supported through your sometimes not so easy journey. If your soul is calling out for something deeper - answer the call. 🩷💫 see you on the other side

Going back to my homeland was so incredibly heart breaking and healing at the same time. My heart was expanded and contracted over and over again. I love these people, all of the moments that we shared and all I wish for with every piece of my being is that I have more moments to share with them. ❤️

How my whole life feels sometimes. An exciting multidimensional experience. Full of adventure, discovering new places, people, food. Seeing reflections mirrored in people, energy flowing different in every experience a constant state of self awareness, discovery and wonder. Honestly I wouldn’t have it any other way. 🙃😊

The incredible thing about Kyiv, Ukraine is seeing the resistance and flow still persevering regardless of the war. People are different they seem kinder and more felt like a collective. Day to day is still going on, kids playing outside, people having coffee at coffee shops, new businesses opening. The biggest lesson I learned from this experience is that you cannot put your life on hold - ever. Living and thriving in spite of the circumstances is the best flex Ukrainian people have on Russia and this war. I’m so honored to have Ukrainian blood running through my veins. I carry this drive to love my life to the fullest with me everywhere I go taking Ukraine with me no matter which content or country I am in.

Walking through this pine forest, it’s impossible not to feel it — life insisting on itself. War doesn’t stop the roots from reaching, the needles from softening the ground, the quiet from healing what it can. This land keeps thriving, keeps holding its people. Ukraine is more than what’s happening to it.

Growing up my grandmother never let us as kids take medications or antibiotics she always made a natural remedy for us to cure all kids of ailments and this is why: on a walk this morning we found a meadow right off the main road full of medicinal plants. These plants are so common they are literally everywhere. Here are some photos of them in order and some of their medicinal qualities. 1. Yarrow — Classic wound herb; fresh crushed leaf helps stop minor bleeding, and tea is used for colds and fevers.
2. Common mullein — Leaves steeped as tea (strained well) for coughs and chest congestion; flowers infused in oil for earaches.
3. Chicory — Root roasted as a coffee substitute or simmered as a decoction to stimulate digestion.
4. Woundwort — Fresh crushed leaves applied directly to cuts as a traditional field dressing.
5. Milkweed (caution) — Historically used by Indigenous practitioners in small prepared doses, but raw plant is toxic — not for casual home use.
6. Leafy spurge (caution) — Once used as a purgative, but the sap is a strong irritant; most herbalists avoid it today.
7. Rosehip — High in vitamin C; dried, seed-strained hips steeped as tea for immune support.
8. Broadleaf plantain — Chew or crush a fresh leaf and apply directly to stings or small cuts to draw out irritation.
9. Stinging nettle — Nutrient-rich tonic for allergies and joint support; leaves must be blanched or dried before steeping to neutralize the sting.

Honestly I never thought I would come visit Ukraine 🇺🇦 during the war. The things you hear about it in the US sound scary and not inviting. But the ancestors called and I answered supported by my dear friends it became not just a thought but a reality. Being here and seeing the way things are is opening up my eyes to all aspects of my life. Life finds a way to keep going regardless of the circumstances. Joy, happiness and peace is a choice that it made internally and finding a way to it is possible even in the midst of turmoil and uncertainty. We all need support and love though. So finding your tribe is the key. The people of Ukraine are an incredible example of resilience and strength and not just survival, but striving. I’m in awe of what I’m seeing and feel so blessed that I get to witness it and actually be a part of the experience. 🩷 so proud of have Ukraina blood running in my veins.

Nervous system regulation through daily practice. Especially in the heat of Arizona. The gym has been my saving grace. Slowly fitting with all of the feelings, all of the sensations, and letting them move through me.

The logistics of the planning the trip to Ukraine has been a very interesting threshold for me. To really reveal the reasoning behind my decision to go back. Sitting with it and being in this place is scary, but at the same time I feel good about the decision. It’s been 5 years since I’ve been back. I want to go back. It’s time.
