William’s family recently shared the progress they have seen following his stem cell treatments made possible through a Live Like Jake Critical Care Grant. We are grateful to be part of William’s journey and to see the progress he continues to make.

Some pictures of this past week!

We started measuring range of motion from our first day back to PT from Texas. From last week to this week William had some great results!

We have definitely seen a huge difference in his back! Now, he has to be stretched out to get it there but this wasn’t possible before. It’s why we did what we did and I’m super happy so far!

Also I added a few pics of when we took him to see Mario Bros at the movies! 😎

We are 7 days post surgery and finally seeing the benefits! The few days after the surgery were easy since he had meds to help him through it. But after that was a bit of a battle. We had a few rough days. Thankfully that’s behind us!

Today was his first day back to PT and WOW! He’s looser, calmer, and he’s much more alert. I think it due to his levels of pain being less.

We ended our trip with our favorite, Dr Bor and his team. He did really well there and was even tracking a conversation moving his head to listen to who was talking! We’ve seen that before but it’s not often. He never fails to impress me ❤️

We have 4 days with our fantastic ABM therapist and then it’s right into a 6 week intensive at VIP with our favorites there!

I’m in awe of the love and support we’ve been given by family and friends. Thank you to everyone for the prayers and encouragement, this was a hard thing we did and it’s going to be life changing for him ❤️
