Is anyone else eating super low carb, high protein?
I’m keeping my body in Ketosis, but not adding in a ton of fat and butter.
Not quite “carnivore” and not the ketogenic diet. More like primal, keto-biotic. I don’t have a name for it “yet”
Anyway, I’m 3 weeks in and my body composition is shifting, I don’t need to lose weight, but I’m what’s called skinny-fat, and eating this way is helping that
What else is happening?
Improved:
Sleep
Mood
Capacity to deal with stress
Libido
Some of those symptoms are “perimenopause “ so if those are improved, that means my hormones are leveling out
This is not an easy transition, I’m tracking my food, I’m tracking my glucose and my ketones
And adding in some movement to activate my muscle , but not a lot, it’s not long hours of working out
I’m planning on creating a plan to share and guide other women with what I’m doing.
Although, I will say my husband has dropped lots around his waist in his 3 weeks since following low carb
Anyone have interest in trying this out?
