A Love Letter to Thailand 🇹🇭❤️ Day 14 Bangkok!
Thailand, thank you.
Thank you for welcoming me so warmly, for your generosity, your kindness, your beauty, your food, your traditions, your laughter, your temples, your markets, your music, your movement, and your spirit.
What touched me most was the Thai people. Again and again, I experienced genuine kindness, from guides, drivers, restaurant staff, dentists, shopkeepers, massage therapists, strangers on the street, and people who simply stopped to smile or say something kind. I felt cared for here. I felt welcomed here.
I came to Thailand for an experience, but somewhere along the way, I stopped simply visiting Bangkok and started living in Bangkok. I learned the rhythm of the city. I rode the motorcycles and tuk-tuks, wandered through temples, floated through markets, sat high above the skyline, ate incredible food, laughed with new friends, and created memories I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
There were adventures I planned and beautiful moments I never could have planned. And those unexpected moments may be the ones I treasure most.
Thank you for allowing me to experience your culture with respect, curiosity, and an open heart. Thank you for reminding me how much beauty there is in this world—and how much goodness still exists between people who may come from completely different places.
I leave with gratitude, wonderful memories, and so much affection for this country and its people.
This is not goodbye.
Thailand, I will most definitely will see you later. 🇹🇭❤️🙏🏽
Khop khun kha.
