How do you open to Love?

Come as you are.

Hurting. Come as you are.
Hateful. Come as you are.
Jealous. Come as you are.
Lonely. Come as you are.
Insecure. Come as you are.
Resistant. Come as you are.
Enraged. Come as you are.
Grieving. Come as you are.
Confused. Come as you are.
Terrified. Come as you are.

Even when you are not open to Love..

Love is open to you.

You cannot earn this, escape this, deserve this, gain this, or lose this.

Love is everlasting and all embracing.

“I can’t open to love, I’m too scared”…

Perfect… come as you are. 🤍

Give it up, baby.

All that tension in your body.

All that stress concentrated in your mind.

All that efforting, forcing, pushing, controlling.

You can’t make your own heart beat.

You can’t turn winter into spring…

Or force the sun to rise.

You’ve never been in control of life, my love.

You’ll never be in control of life.

Not even your own.

You exhaust your mind to organize your life —

But honestly, you and I know.. the heart makes the decision in the end.

So surrender to that beautiful heart.

You’re held by a force - an intelligence - a Love - far greater than your own..

And those people you’re worried about? This force of perfect Love is holding them, too.

Relax, sweetheart. It’s okay to not know the perfect way to be/do.

We are all learning together.

Some are just more cloaked in their ego; posturing as if they’ve figured out the answer.

When, in 2 years, even THEIR world will change completely…

We all take turns being humbled by this Perfect Love.

It’s okay to collapse and hide.
It’s okay to be massive and disruptive.
It’s okay to be DONE with complexity.
It’s okay to just… sit there. And be. And breathe.

Let it go.

You’re being witnessed & directed by a cosmic intelligence to go inside —

Spliffs & Stoic Philosophy: how I made my first $100k.

A lot of my students ask “how did you get started?” And I tell them the actions I took — in business.

But… not in my lifestyle.

Becauseee.. THIS was my lifestyle:

Waking up & smoking a bowl. Coffee. Rap music. Walking my dog. Snowboarding. Skipping meals. Never skipping spliffs. Checking bank acct before buying groceries. Dodging people smoking crack outside my apartment. Hiking. Another spliff. Lots of mobility drills. Stoic philosophy. Doing pull ups. Collagen protein powder. Lol.

It isn’t exactly the wholesome green-smoothie-meditation-20-min-jog-chakra-alignment morning routine you hear on podcasts.

It’s not how I live anymore, and it doesn’t always feel “healthy” to share those details.

But you know what else isn’t healthy?

Chasing an impossible standard of self-perfection.

Especially in the spiritual / coaching community — many people are suffocating in their own efforts to embody perfection.

I get it: In the process of becoming your highest self, you can unconsciously create judgements towards yourself until, suddenly…

….“healing” has made you even more self-loathing.

Like, you won’t attract more money if you have “unaligned” energy.
You can’t receive love if you’re triggered.
You can’t be proud of yourself if you have bad habits.
You can’t be spiritual if you make dirty jokes.
You can’t just be inherently good, and deserve good things… without somehow “earning” it.

…Yeah, that’s unhealthy too.

Especially the money part. People will literally say “I’m having a low $$$ month, because my energy hasn’t been right”.

Yes and no.

Your energy IS what it IS.

Your *RULES* about your energy haven’t been right.

I believe in behaving as your highest self - but don’t use that as ANOTHER excuse to gaslight & abuse yourself for not being “enough”.

Perhaps it’s actually possible for you to be wealthy, loved, desired, and happy… BEFORE you reach that “standard” of yours.

Try dropping the story of “I have to be ~perfectly aligned~ in order to earn love, make more money, etc”…. It’s not working, anyway.

Remember.

You’re the most powerful expression of energy & divinity that exists.

Act like it. 😘

MACRO (for medium/long term):

✔️Define PROJECTS + TASKS
⠀
Every month, decide on your 🏆 goal for the month ahead. This is a “project” because it requires a set of tasks in order to reach completion. Pro tip: never put a “project” on your to-do list… instead, set 3-4 key milestones you’ll need to hit each week to achieve the goal. Finally, chunk it down into specific, daily TASKS.

✔️Balance MAKER vs MANAGER tasks⚖️
⠀
Maker tasks move the needle -- ex. content creation, developing your offer, attracting new clients. Manager tasks (calls, emails, admin work) keep your biz running day-to-day.

Keep these as separate as possible, and try to invest 80% of your time into creating VALUE vs. managing things.
⠀
✔️Batch high-value work into “themed” days
⠀
Have dedicated Sales Days, Content Days, Strategy Days etc. You’ll be amazed how much you can get done when you don’t have to context-switch 10x/hour 🤯
⠀
If you can’t do this, schedule long (2+ hrs), uninterrupted “themed” work sessions 2-3x/week.
⠀
MICRO (for daily use):

✔️Eat the frog first
⠀
Whatever you’re dreading on your to-do list most… do it first.
⠀
No, no negotiations. Get it done ASAP and get it over with. Discipline, hunnay.

✔️Make appointments with your boss (YOU)🗓️

Treat these as seriously as REAL client appointments, even though it’s you. Show up, do your best work, and don’t bail 😎 The amount of loyalty you have to YOURSELF in these appointments will show you what you’re made of.

✔️Work in BRAIN sprints⏱️

I use the “Pomodoro Technique”:

For every 25 minutes of *focused* work, take a 5m break. After you do it 4 times, take a longer break (15-30 minutes). Rinse, repeat. :)
