Meet another of our bright conference speakers, Dr. Bridget Kelley!
Dr. Bridget Kelley received her B.A. degree with honors in Biology and Spanish from Dartmouth College and graduated from the New York University School of Medicine with her Medical Doctorate Degree. She successfully completed her Pediatric residency at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and her Neonatology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital in June 2019. In addition to her clinical work in the NICU, Dr. Kelley has an interest in bronchopulmonary dysplasia (BPD). She previously directed the Infant Chronic Lung Disease Program at CHLA, where she developed protocols and a multidisciplinary plan of care for both the prevention and management of BPD. She has also participated in national research efforts through the BPD Collaborative, with a focus on neurodevelopmental outcomes for infants with severe BPD, with recent publications in the Journal of Pediatrics and Journal of Perinatology. She is currently an attending neonatologist at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women and Newborns, Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center and Sharp Grossmont Hospital, where she continues to work on improving the management and outcome for infants with BPD.
