Don’t forget and don’t dilute it. You’ve tasted unconditional love. Agape love. You have it. It’s here. Can you see it? Really look into your life, your body. Ask bigger, more beautiful questions. When I dug into the depths of the truth about healing, the closest thing I could find to explaining what I found was Love. Not romantic but agape. It humbled me. It expanded my mind and broke my heart wide open. True Medicine to me is Loving. It is honest, pure, committed, intentional, unconditional, invested, strong and magnificently gritty. Healing is Love. It is unconditional.
What if you saw what you had? Look at your conditions for receiving what you are unconditionally asking for from your body. It gives but you don’t see it.
When you do see it, it will change how every message from your body feels. To know you are loved and to know every action comes from that love changes how everything feels. Even the challenges. Even the symptoms. Even the hard times. Especially the hard times.
Even if you can’t see them as the same yet, one thing I know we all know is that love heals. Knowing love, feeling love and giving love - love itself. The truth of it, the strength of it, the purity of it, not the sentimentality associated with the word. But what if love is synonymous with everything that is Truly healing and everything True and Powerful but we’ve given all the power of the Truth of it to insignificant things and diluted it with a word, a sentiment, a condition and only things that feel good?
As I studied the body and watched mine and now others heal, I grasped what might be the most pure physical demonstration of what unconditional is and even what love might contain. To me they are inseparable.
For the body, the demonstration of Love is unconditional but often unrequited.
Knowing this and honoring it and knowing this and abusing it are two very different things.
What you do with the love you are given is entirely up to you.
Healing and death touch once.
Your life is your medicine.
Always and in all ways.
If you know it, your life should be a demonstration of honoring it. Unconditionally.
