What are the best positions for bottle feeding your baby? I love positions that mimic breastfeeding, and therefore feel very natural for baby and protect their ability to latch still! Always pace the bottle to prevent a flow preference or accidentally over eat. Use a slow flow. And make sure if you are supplementing, to pump to protect your supply! 🤱🤍

Overusing a pacifier can make a huge difference in how much volume your baby gets throughout the day! I’m not saying pacifiers are inherently bad, but it’s important to recognize the cues when your baby is actually hungry and wants a snack throughout the day. Always breastfeed on demand, not on a strict schedule. But if your baby is gaining adequate weight, has enough pees and poops, and breastfeeding has well established your milk supply, then I approve using a pacifier to soothe and sleep. 🤍🤱

Having a c-section does not mean that breastfeeding will get off to a rough start. Breastfeed early and often, take care of yourself and your recovery, and know that a small delay in milk transition is possible, but not always the case! 🤱🤍
