Meet Danielle! Our newest instructor at SHIFT!
Danielle Archuleta is a professional ballet dancer currently performing with The Rosin Box Project in San Diego and the founder of Dance for Climate, a dance-film initiative that uses the arts to inspire environmental awareness and action.
Her Pilates journey began as a teenager at Miami City Ballet School, where Pilates was an integral part of the curriculum. Following a significant injury at age 18, she experienced firsthand the transformative role Pilates can play in rehabilitation and recovery. The practice helped her return to the studio and continue dancing professionally, deepening her belief in Pilates as a powerful tool for cross-training, injury prevention, recovery, and overall well-being.
She holds a BASI Pilates Comprehensive Certification (500 hours) completed under the direction of Amy de Sa, BASI Pilates Principal Faculty. As an instructor, Danielle emphasizes the “why” behind each exercise, helping clients develop a deeper understanding of their movement practice. Through the use of imagery, metaphors, and mindful movement education, she empowers clients to build strength, awareness, and confidence both in and out of the studio.
