“If you listen to your body when it whispers, you won’t have to hear it scream.” — Unknown

Rest, movement, nourishment, boundaries, the body often gives signals long before burnout arrives. Listening early matters. 🤍

There's something special about connecting in person.

A big thank you to Toby Benton for organizing this meetup in Old Town Scottsdale and bringing together members of the health and wellness coaching community. Events like these create opportunities to build relationships, share experiences, and strengthen the profession through meaningful connection.

We love seeing NBC-HWC come together to learn from one another and support the growth of our community.

What happens when we stop telling people what they "should" do and start meeting them where they are?

In this Coach Spotlight, NBC-HWC Laura Timbrook shares a story that continues to shape her approach to coaching. Rather than focusing on willpower or compliance, Laura helps clients identify what matters most to them and build from there.

For one client, it wasn't about a diet or a perfect plan. It was about taking a future camping trip with his grandson. That meaningful connection became the foundation for lasting change.

As health and wellness coaches, we know that sustainable behavior change happens when people feel heard, respected, and supported, not judged.

Watch Laura's story and learn why progress, not perfection, remains at the heart of her coaching approach.
