Globus Cares (formerly the NuVasive Spine Foundation) facilitates medical missions that bring life-changing spine surgery, training and technology around the world. Through our medical mission program, NSF partners with leading spine surgeons, NuVasive, Inc., nonprofits and in-country medical professionals/facilities to develop sustainable spine treatment programs and advance the quality of spine care in disadvantaged communities around the world.

NSF is staying busy this fall! Our volunteers, in partnership w/ just returned from Monterrey, Mexico after performing 7 scoliosis surgeries for pediatric patients. 🤗🇲🇽🧑‍🧑‍🧒

Our cases were a mix of posterior final fusions, growing-rod lengthenings & hardware revisions. Kids have all returned home with their families to continue their recovery ❤️‍🩹

This February, NSF partnered with the Global Peace & Love Foundation and the King Faisal Hospital to bring surgeons from the US & Egypt for an education centered spinal deformity mission trip to Kigali, Rwanda.

This mighty volunteer team performed 7 scoliosis surgeries during the week for patients ranging from 6-35 years of age!! We’re SO proud of this team and the amazing efforts they put in to make our initial outreach to Rwanda a success. 🇷🇼🇷🇼🇷🇼
