Mold is far more common and far more serious than most people realize… until they’re the ones living through it.

Today, helping people uncover hidden mold illness is one of my biggest passions because I’ve been there myself. I know how frustrating it is to be told everything looks “normal” when you know something isn’t right.

If you’re tired of guessing and you’re ready to get to the root cause, send me “MOLD.” I’ll help determine whether mold could be part of your story, recommend the right testing, and create a personalized plan to help you start feeling like yourself again.

When I first started writing this book, my vision was simple: to create the resource I wish every woman had during pregnancy and while preparing for motherhood.

But somewhere along the way, this book became so much more.

As Eric Wolfinger and I spent more than three years bringing it to life, we realized that the principles of nourishing your body don’t stop after pregnancy. They apply to every season of life and every member of the family.

What started as a pregnancy cookbook became a cookbook for life. My hope is that Eating for Life becomes the cookbook you reach for again and again, the one that’s stained, bookmarked, and loved because it’s actually used.

Because we chose to self-publish, every detail was intentional. Every one of the 120 recipes was tested, refined, and beautifully photographed. We obsessed over every decision because we could and we were in complete control.

Inside, we break down common nutrition myths, explain why balancing your blood sugar matters at every age and every stage of life, and share 120 nourishing, crave-worthy recipes.

There were plenty of moments we wondered if we’d ever finish, but we refused to rush it because we truly believed this was the book missing in the world of health, wellness, pregnancy, and family nutrition.

To everyone who has waited, encouraged us, and believed in this dream—thank you. Your support has meant more than you’ll ever know.

Eating for Life ships September 8! Book tour dates, launch parties, and more exciting announcements are coming soon. We can’t wait to celebrate with you and finally get this book into your hands. 🤍

Traveling with kids means we don’t wait until someone gets sick to support their immune system.

Before we travel, while we’re away, and especially when we get home, we double down on the basics:
• Vitamin C
• Elderberry
• Beekeeper’s Naturals propolis throat spray
• Nasal rinses
• Our favorite patches- glutathione and aeon

Kids get sick, but it’s no fun while on vacay, but consistently supporting their immune system has made a huge difference for our family. Prevention always beats playing catch-up.

I added them all to my shop my will link in stories (it’s a work in progress!) 😆

Let’s talk… JET LAG ✈️😴

After traveling with two little kids, getting home isn’t the time I can spend days recovering.

The kids are up early, routines start back up, work is waiting, laundry is piled high, meals need to be made, and life picks up right where it left off.

As a nutritionist and a mom, these are the four things I always prioritize to help my body—and our whole family, adjust as quickly as possible.

The truth is, I don’t stress too much on vacation. But when we get home? That’s when I’m much more intentional.

We’re jumping right back into work, clients, meal prep, and all the responsibilities waiting for us. I want to feel good, so I do everything I can to help my body adjust as quickly as possible.

A friendly reminder that: The grass isn’t greener on the other side, it’s greener where you water it.

Take care of your own grass, and you’ll start to see how beautiful your life already is.🤍🤍🤍

I dealt with years of this and I see it so often when analyzing labs.

So the basics…Ferritin is your iron storage.

If your ferritin has been “normal,” but you’ve never felt normal…

It may be time to look deeper.

If your ferritin won’t budge, I start asking questions:

→ Are you actually absorbing iron?
→ Are you losing more than you’re replacing (heavy periods, hormonal imbalance, pregnancy, postpartum)?
→ Is inflammation affecting iron metabolism?
→ Have you checked your thyroid?
→ Is your gut healthy enough to absorb nutrients?
→ Could H. pylori, celiac disease, or parasites be contributing?
→ Is your liver under increased stress?
→ Are nutrient deficiencies (like copper, zinc, vitamin A, B vitamins, or vitamin C) playing a role?
→ Could environmental exposures like mold or other toxins be increasing inflammation and making recovery harder?

One of the reasons I love the Total Tox test is that it helps us identify whether mold, glyphosate, heavy metals, or other environmental toxins may be contributing to the bigger picture. It’s not always the cause of low ferritin, but in the right person, it can be an important piece of the puzzle.

The biggest mistake I see?

Looking at ferritin alone.

I always want to see the full pane ( happy to send it just DM it)

Then I put that together with thyroid markers, inflammation, hormones, gut health, your symptoms, and your health history.

That’s how you find the root cause…not by chasing one lab value, but by understanding the whole story, patterns and what your body is telling you.

I had to share this here because I get asked almost daily…

“Can the patches help with eczema…Or acne. Or rashes. Or other skin issues.”

This little one had severe eczema, and after trying what felt like everything, his skin transformed in under a month.

One of my favorite things about these patches is that they aren’t designed to “treat” skin, they support the body. By helping reduce oxidative stress, supporting the body’s natural repair processes, improving cellular communication, and promoting healthier collagen production, I’ve seen some incredible changes happen from the inside out.

Over the last year I’ve personally seen:
✨ Babies with eczema improve dramatically
✨ Adults who’ve struggled with eczema for decades
✨ My sister’s stubborn underarm rash disappear overnight after years of dealing with it
✨ Acne clear up
✨ Uneven skin tone and white spots fade
✨ Healthier, calmer, more resilient skin

Of course, everyone’s experience is different, but skin is often a reflection of what’s happening inside the body. When you support the body’s healing processes, the skin is often one of the first places you notice a difference.

If you’ve been struggling with a skin issue and are curious about the protocol I use, send me a text (858-344-4114)or DM me “SKIN” and I’ll send it over.

After taking some much-needed time away with my family, I finally sat down today to map out my August schedule.

I’ll be opening a very limited number of spots for:
• Functional lab reviews
• Total Tox interpretations
• Comprehensive stool analysis reviews
• Personalized protocol recommendations (link and details in my profile)

My practice is already filling quickly, and with my book launching soon, I only have room for a small number of nee client reviews.

If you’ve been wanting answers and have been putting off testing, now is the time to get your labs ordered so we can review everything together in August.

Send me a DM or I am linking the consult link in my stories. 🤍

My little Euro babies. 🤍

They don’t feel so little when I’m carrying them up endless stairs and cobblestone hills… but somehow all that pan con tomate and vino makes it worth it..

07/13/2026

No places to be.
No schedule to keep.
Long walks with no destination.
Long lunches.
More bread than I care to admit.
A couple of labs to review (because let’s be honest, I can’t completely unplug)… but somehow even those felt better with a glass of w**e in the plaza.
And warm water dips with my favorite people.

Maybe healing isn’t always about adding more.
Sometimes it’s about giving yourself permission to slow down long enough to remember who you are.🤍
