✨ Honoring a Legacy That Continues to Light the Way ✨

As we look forward to Celebration for the Children: Together, We Light the Way, we are reminded that every meaningful journey begins with someone willing to imagine what is possible.

More than three decades ago, our founder, Dr. Betty Jones, envisioned a future in which children throughout the San Diego-Tijuana region could receive the healthcare they needed to heal, grow, and thrive. Her compassion and determination inspired the creation of the Foundation for the Children of the Californias and continue to guide our work alongside Hospital Infantil de las Californias.

Today, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Jones family for continuing to stand with the Foundation and helping preserve a legacy that has touched generations of children and families. Their continued support reminds us that a powerful vision does not end with one person. It is carried forward by those who believe in it, nurture it, and help it grow.

At this year’s Celebration, we will honor both where our story began and the people who continue helping us write its next chapter.

Invitations to our 2026 Celebration for the Children: Together, We Light the Way are officially in the mail! ✨

On Sunday, October 11, friends, supporters, and community members will gather at Paradise Point Resort & Spa for Celebration for the Children: Together, We Light the Way.

It will be an evening to celebrate extraordinary people whose compassion, dedication, and generosity have made a lasting difference, while helping the Foundation for the Children of the Californias continue supporting pediatric healthcare and services for children and families in our binational region.
