Our San Diego team helps people build micro-enterprises out of things they already love doing.

Meet Will - Will The Singing Guy has a passion for singing and wants to share his talent with the world. We help with the parts that are hard. Writing the plan, creating a budget, figuring out how to let people know you exist. Then we stay, because the questions don't stop the day the business opens.

Mostly, we start from the belief that the idea is worth trying. A lot of the folks we work with have spent a long time hearing the opposite.

We welcome our newest team member, Kirk Dela Cruz! Kirk joins Almost Family as our Director of Day and Vocational services.

Kirk comes to us with previous experience as an educator, developer, coach, and advocate and has been such an important part of the community here in San Diego.

It’s been a busy few weeks for Almost Family San Diego!

The team recently attended the Race For Autism put on by the National Foundation for Autism Research where our director Blake Sheldon finished in the top 10!

This past weekend the team attended the Leading the Charge conference, hosted by the Developmental Disabilities Provider Network, San Diego. At the conference our team got to hear the amazing panel speakers, each sharing their unique stories and experiences.

Following the conference, the team met with members of the Autism Society San Diego at Petco Park for Autism Acceptance night.

We are grateful to be involved in such an amazing community here in San Diego!
