Teacher Feature: Sharon Demko and Kiesha Ramey-Presner
Kiesha and Sharon are veteran group fitness leaders who started their careers at the original Bar Method flagship 20 years ago, during the early days of the boutique fitness boom. After building the franchise to over 100 studios and managing a 20+ instructor team, both went on to earn advanced certifications (Sharon as an NSCA-CSCS and CPT, Kiesha through ACE with a functional training specialty).
During the pandemic, they founded Her Mission Community for fitness. Together, they created Power, Strength + Balance - a 50-minute, music-driven barre format focused on body awareness, mobility, and functional strength for all ages, built on the belief that real transformation comes from feeling confident in how your body moves.
They’ve since launched an ACE-certified online training program for fitness professionals, bringing a deep wealth of knowledge to their classes.
