I'm still doing my volunteer work at the Charlotte Maxwell Clinic in San Francisco on the third Friday of the month. I work with poor women with cancer. It's rewarding and the clients and staff are wonderful. I'm also incorporating my healing Touch work into my sexual healing sessions with clients, where appropriate with some very positive results. I haven't finished work on my website, but hope to have it up soon. In the meantime, I charge a sliding scale of $65-90 for a session (usually 45min to an hour). Mondays are especially good, since I have space at my Treat Street location.

I'm getting started on designing a website and also working with the manager of my gym on bringing energy modalities (Healing Touch, Reiki) to the gym.

I passed my Healing Touch exam and am now a CERTIFIED HEALING TOUCH PRACTITIONER!!! Yeay. It's been 2 and a half years. I'm ready, willing and (Hopefully) able to start a thriving practice. Please contact me if you'd like to book a session. I will follow up with more details. I have Mondays reserved for Healing Touch and Reiki. I will also be studying acupressure in the fall and plan to include acupressure and body mobilization (passive range of motion massage - try it - you will feel fabulous - loose and open!)

Great news!!! When I got home and checked my email (yes, I'm one of those people who doesn't have a smart phone yet!!), there was a wonderful one from the Healing Touch Association telling me that my Certification Packet has PASSED! Yeay!! So the only thing left, which is a big thing, but probably not too difficult, is the written exam. I hope to get that done in the next couple of months or sooner.

i just got back from a family visit in NYC and the New York area. Did some Healing Touch for my mother, who is now permanently in a nursing home. HT seems to help her to relax. She has Alzheimer's. Still know us, but mostly not making much sense. My Dad was suffering from oral pain after some major dental work. The Healing Touch seemed to relieve the pain on his right side and he continues to be pain free.

I've been studying for my Healing Touch exam. Also went to Oakland the other day because I am signed up to take an acupressure course there in November. I've been using acupressure for years for self-healing. It will be a great addition to my other energy practices.

Practitioners consciously use their hands in a heart-centered and intentional way to enhance, support, and facilitate the client’s physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health and self-healing. Healing Touch utilizes light or near-body touch to clear, balance, and energize the human energy system in order to promote health and healing for the body, mind, and spirit.
