On World CBT Day 2026, we highlight CBT in Action: Mental Health Support in Humanitarian Crises.

In times of conflict, disaster, displacement, and disruption, mental health matters. CBT can offer practical, evidence-based support that helps people manage distress, strengthen coping, and rebuild a sense of stability and hope.

Today, we recognize the importance of making psychological support available in crisis-affected settings, and the global community working to make that possible.

Today is International Youth Day. Nearly 1 in 7 adolescents worldwide lives with anxiety or depression, and su***de is a leading cause of death among older teens.

We know that schools are a crucial gateway for prevention, providing an equitable and effective way to build resilience before a crisis occurs. Evidence-based CBT programs can reduce symptoms and enhance mental health literacy for years to come.

We must ensure every young person has the tools to thrive.
