On April 19, 1943, Albert Hofmann ingested L*D intentionally for the first time, an occasion now known as Bicycle Day.

In 2020, researchers at Semmelweis University in Budapest gave rats a sub-psycdelic dose of ĐMT after inducing an ischemic stroke.

The result: the dead-tissue zone shrank significantly, and within 30 days the rats recovered near-complete motor function.

85% of stroke patients today receive no interventional treatment. Your brain loses 1.9 million neurons every minute a stroke goes untreated. There is almost nothing available for the majority of people who suffer from a stroke.
Now Algernon NeuroScience has cleared the final regulatory hurdles for a 40-patient, double-blind Phase 2a trial in Hungary. Stroke patients will receive an IV drip of ĐMT, at a dose low enough to cause zero psycdelic effects, within 24 hours of diagnosis.

ĐMT already occurs naturally in the human brain. Your body produces it during cardiac arrest, childbirth and right bf you die. This isn’t a fringe molecule. It’s one of the most ancient compounds in human biology.

The Phase 1 trial confirmed safety at sub-psychedelic levels. The Phase 2a will be the first time ĐMT is tested on actual stroke patients.
