HELLO IDAHO!!!

I'm looking forward to bringing y'all amazing meal prep!

A little background:
My name is Morgan, I have a BS in Exercise Science and a BS in Nutrition. I've been a personal and group trainer for the last 10+ years and love seeing people learn new things while growing confidence in themselves.

I started Empower Meals while living in Colorado when I saw a missing link in my community for balanced quick meals. I knew many people who viewed "healthy food" as bland, under seasoned, and forgettable, so I set out to prove otherwise. Utilizing my background in both schooling and being a professional chef for 8+ years I have curated options that keep people coming back for the flavor and numerous rotating options.

Kept it simple this am after a client and before second breakfast (bulk phase!!). 5X5 @135 # Super Set with 5X6 DB Bulgarian Split Squats @35 # in each hand.

A gnarly cold has knocked me out this last week. But a solid 30 minute session on the bags yesterday afternoon was a good way to ease back into cardio and breathing heavy.

Boxing is a great whole body workout that can be as cardio heavy as you want it to be. Plus it's more fun to punch a bag that stare at a treadmill for 30-60 minutes.

I've been out of true martial arts training for a handful of years, but I think I've still got it 👊

Banded Good Mornings:
- Activates hip flexors
- Activates glutes
- Activates core stability muscles such as your Spinus Erectus (long muscles on your back) and Re**us abdominis ("6-pack" Abs)

Good mornings are one of my favorite exercises during warmup. No matter what the rest of your workout looks like it's a great exercise to active your glute and core which are HUGE stabilizing muscles.

Something I have been telling myself more and more lately. It's a reminder that even though things are hard sometimes if you stay positive and keep reaching for your goals you'll get there. One day and step at a time.

This can be applied to your life in and outside of the gym and your nutrition goals. Health is just as much about your mental health and emotional health as it is about your physical health.

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! Drum roll please!!

I'm back, things are just looking a little different these days.

After a much longer hiatus than expected, 4 big moves in the last year, career changes and refocusing and much much more. I have landed in the Bay Area and am back at studying for my CPT (Certified Personal Trainer) and my CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) which will be completed come end of June!!

So, what's this mean (especially for my CO people)?
This account will be transitioning to a more personal training and exercise/nutrition consulting platform. BUT all of my Colorado clients can still enjoy options, just virtually!

I'll be offering the following (shoot me a message for more info and pricing!):
- Virtual coaching sessions (take me to the gym with you or let's workout in your living room!)
- Virtual counseling for both exercise and nutrition, including meal plans and how to include your favorite foods and still get the results you want
- In person personal training sessions here in the Bay Area
- Exercise programming (2-6X/week depending on your goals) for both in person and virtual clients.

I look forward to what this next step brings and all of the new people and connections I will make during my time here in the Bay area.
