There is something energizing about being surrounded by people who care this much about quality. Last week at the Vascular Annual Meeting and VQI Annual Meeting, that came through in every conversation.
What stood out to us was the people. Every conversation seemed to come back to quality improvement, and you could feel how much pride the surgeons and quality teams take in the work they are doing for patients.
So much of the VQI community is built around clinicians sharing what they changed in their practice and the difference it made. The registry data sits underneath all of it, but the real story is what these teams do with it.
At Carta Healthcare we get to support a small slice of that picture, helping teams get clean and timely registry data so their attention can go straight to the improvement itself. Being around that energy all week was a great reminder of who does the hard part.
