If you are new to the story, I’m sharing our story because Dennis and I just celebrated 13 years of marriage and after all these years I’ve never really told the full story of how we ended up together. Dennis has also been such a huge part of The Healing Gem and the person behind so much of the jewelry we’ve created over the years so I thought it was finally time you got to know a little more about us.💎❤️

Do you know where to place crystals in a classroom or which ones to tuck into your kid’s backpack? 🎒💎✨

I know I’m a little late because my kids already started school AND college!!! OMG 😱 But I still wanted to share my Back-to-School Crystal Guide for teachers and parents! 🍎📚

Whether you want to gift your child’s teacher a little crystal Teacher Survival Kit 😂💎, add some supportive crystals to your kid’s backpack 🎒 and/or bring some good energy into the classroom. Here are some of my favorite ideas!

One really cool thing our school district did a couple years ago was give every teacher a sound bowl! 🥹🔔 Teachers would use them after lunch to help calm and recenter the kids when they came back into class all excited and flustered. I absolutely LOVED that idea! ✨

What is your favorite Dolly Parton song? Mine is Jolene but I also love 9 to 5 because of the meaning of it. 💪💕💕

I have admired Dolly Parton for as long as I can remember. 🤍✨

As a little girl, I was captivated by her beauty, femininity, voice and of course, all that sparkle. (She taught me as an adult that it’s ok to wear all the sparkle. I can’t remember ever using eyeshadow or nail polish without sparkle) More than anything she radiated light. Every time I saw her on screen I could feel her energy coming through. Long before I knew anything about auras or energy I knew there was something incredibly special about hers.

As I got older I found even more reasons to admire her. Learning that 9 to 5 was an anthem for working women made the song even more empowering to me. Beyond her music Dolly gave so much of herself to others especially children. She once shared that she believed God didn’t give her children of her own so that everybody’s children could be hers. 🥹📚

I can only hope to do even a tiny portion of the good she put into this world. Oh and Dollywood is still on my bucket list. 🥹✨ One day!

We lost a beautiful light here on Earth but I believe Heaven gained one very sparkly rhinestone-covered angel. 🤍

May we honor Dolly by leaving a little more love and kindness in this world than we found.

Chapter 4 of our love story ❤️

Sorry it took me a few days to post the next chapter. 🥹 If I’m being completely transparent, I’ve been feeling a little insecure about sharing so much of my personal life and wondering if you guys are still interested in hearing the rest of our story.

I guess this is a good way to find out who’s still here. 😂 If you are I want you to know I am eternally grateful for you! Seriously. Thank you for listening, commenting and letting me be this vulnerable with you. ❤️

💗 A little note about why I’m sharing our story…

My husband and I celebrated our 13th wedding anniversary this week, and it made me realize that after all these years, I’ve never really shared the full story of how we ended up together outside of our close friends and family.

I know this is my crystal page, but Dennis has been such a big part of The Healing Gem from the very beginning. He makes most of our jewelry, has supported this little business through all its ups and downs, and has been beside me through so much of the journey you’ve watched unfold here.

Our love story definitely wasn’t a straight line. 😂 We knew each other in high school, went our separate ways, lived completely different lives, and somehow found each other again about 10 years later. At a time when falling in love was the LAST thing I was looking for.

So in honor of 13 years of marriage, I thought it would be fun to finally tell you the whole story. The good, the messy, the heartbreak, the unexpected turns, and how we somehow ended up here. ❤️

Has life ever led you to a place you least expected? That is my story with my husband. When I wasn’t looking for love and when I had lost hope in LOVE 💕 I found my person. It didn’t come easy but it’s the best decision of my life, getting married to Dennis, Mr. Healing Gem. Today is our 13th wedding anniversary and I want to share our love story here for the first time. I hope that it can help even one person to know that you are divinely guided. 💕✨
