Breaking into the medical device industry requires validation, persistence, and clinical evidence.

Healthcare customers need evidence that technology works in real clinical conditions before committing to adoption. We've been fortunate to complete validation through partnerships with leading research institutions.

We've completed the largest clinical studies ever conducted using Raman spectroscopy for skin cancer detection. The American Medical Association approved a dedicated CPT code for AURA. We've passed all FDA-required performance and safety testing.

Each milestone builds the trust that we're working hard to earn and maintain. Every clinical study provides us with the opportunity to demonstrate that our technology can deliver value, and each successful demonstration helps us build credibility with demanding healthcare customers.

We're now working to translate that clinical validation into commercial adoption. We've finalized manufacturing partnerships and continue expanding our go-to-market strategy across dermatology and primary care markets.

Dr. Harvey Lui, Professor and Head of the Department of Dermatology and Skin Science at the University of British Columbia, served as principal investigator for AURA's clinical studies. He's also a co-inventor of the technology.

We're grateful when a physician-scientist of Dr. Lui's caliber invests time in developing our technology. His experience conducting over 45 research projects and publishing more than 130 peer-reviewed papers brings credibility that matters in the medical device industry.

The technology has also been validated by Dr. Haishan Zeng, a Distinguished Scientist at the BC Cancer Agency, who leads the Imaging Unit within the Integrative Oncology Department. Dr. Zeng holds over 28 patents related to optical diagnosis and therapy, with more than 150 peer-reviewed publications.

We've also established manufacturing partnerships and completed product audits with BriteLab, our OEM partner. The commercial market is developing, and we're focused on building relationships that can scale from initial FDA clearance through full market launch.

Vita Imaging's patented technology enables non-invasive skin cancer detection in under 1.5 seconds. Using Raman spectroscopy, AURA analyzes molecular vibrations to identify biochemical changes associated with malignancy.

The system delivers 90% sensitivity and 82% specificity in detecting melanoma, with additional validation showing 95% sensitivity and 68% specificity across other skin cancer types. Perhaps more importantly, we've shown that it works consistently across different clinical settings.

Through multi-site clinical validation at VA Hospitals and the successful completion of Multi-Reader Multi-Case Studies, we've progressed from a laboratory concept to a clinically validated technology. We've passed all FDA-required performance and safety tests.
