One day, you’ll be old.
You’ll be lying in a bed somewhere…
looking back at the life you lived.
And the question won’t be:
“Did I drink enough?”
The question will be:
Did I live?
Did I show up for my kids?
Did I become someone I was proud of?
Did I fight for my life…
or slowly numb it away?
And I promise you this:
Nobody looks back with pride and says,
“I’m so glad I drank my life away.”
But people DO look back and say:
“That cycle ended with me.”
The drinking.
The excuses.
The chaos.
The self-destruction.
Ended.
And maybe that becomes the most important thing you ever do.
Not because you were perfect.
But because you were brave enough to change.
Sobriety isn’t losing your life.
It’s finally getting it back.
I did it for them.
I keep doing it for all of us. đź©·đź©·đź©·
