“I would like to nominate Spencer and Zach, travel nurses at CHI Mercy Health, for their exceptional teamwork and dedication. Their manager praised them for being dependable, agreeable, and always willing to help. They frequently pick up extra shifts and step in without hesitation, making a positive impact on both staff and patients.

One example shared was during a busy charge shift, where they seamlessly took over tasks without needing direction, demonstrating their initiative and reliability. Their contributions have earned the trust and respect of the entire team.

“Taylor has been a traveler at Stability Healthcare for the past 6 months and has made her presence felt with not only patients but colleagues as well. Jumping into her first travel assignment, Taylor didn’t know what to expect as she transferred to a Level I trauma center working a busy MICU/SICU unit. Tasked with caring for all kinds of patients, she accepted the challenge and rolled up her sleeves, without hesitation to help the hospital fill a void. Whether she floated to multiple units or worked rotating shifts, she kept her chin up and was ready to hit the ground running, no matter the assignment. Of all the ups and downs that come with the role, some of Taylors greatest breakthroughs came when dealing with sick cancer patients. Although these types of patients were not Taylors primary care, their day to day struggle with disease progression was hard to swallow, but their resiliency gave her the motivation to keep going. Her biggest triumphs on the unit were seeing individuals recover from injury, particularly stroke patients. Overall, Taylor has exceeded in her role as a travel nurse, as that is evident in her 2 extensions and continual high praise from unit managers. I gladly nominate Taylor for the Daisy award, as she consistently goes above and beyond in her patient care. In addition to being a great nurse, she is an even better person as that has a ripple effect to those around her. I’m confident Taylor will keep making strides and have a fulfilling career as a nurse.”

DAISY Award for his outstanding contribution to the ICU team. As a travel ICU RN, Spencer consistently goes above and beyond the call of duty, demonstrating exceptional care, professionalism, and teamwork. Spencer’s manager, Jennifer, has shared how much she appreciates his willingness to always step in and help his teammates, even when it requires picking up extra shifts or adjusting to unexpected challenges. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the unit, and his positive attitude is infectious. What stands out most is Spencer’s genuine commitment to supporting his fellow nurses and the patients they care for.
A perfect example of Spencer’s dedication occurred when he and his travel partner were working on a shift together. In the midst of their responsibilities, they noticed a teammate in need and immediately stopped what they were doing to offer assistance-going above and beyond their usual scope of practice. “When Sarah arrived at her assignment, she was greeted almost immediately with news of an impending strike. Having barely arrived and oriented to the hospital, it was quite the introduction. Not only did Sarah jump into the role that she came for, she immediately began floating above and beyond the expectation without a complaint, and agreed to help additionally throughout the strike, not only in her role, but taking on the duties and responsibilities of charge as well. While ultimately the strike was cancelled day of, Sarah’s attitude, work ethic, and willingness to help in any capacity needed, show her character to a T. She is a wonderful nurse, and a wonderful person, and we’re lucky to work with her.”

“Mia has been a new addition to the Stability family and has immediately made an impact on me, her facility and her patients alike. One month into her assignment at Wellstar Cobb Medical Center, we received an email from the Wellstar staffing team stating they received the following message from the Cath Lab manager on site, “I was rounding on patients today and they mentioned Mia was amazing and they felt so cared for and safe with her here.” When I reached out to let her know about the great feedback we received, Mia let me know she was in the middle of dealing with with the recent loss of her beloved grandmother. There she was, in the middle of an extremely difficult moment personally, in a brand new facility with a brand new agency, and Mia was busy making sure her patients felt at ease, loved, and sate. A true testament to the amazing person and nurse that she is. I am so grateful to be working with a person of Mia’s character and the Stability family has found an absolute star.”

“I have been working with Iqbal through multiple contracts and different facilities. Every single facility that Iqbal goes to he is the best of the best nurse in everything he does. I consistently get 5 star reviews from his management at every single facility he goes too. That goes to show the true testament of who labal is and how he cares for all of of his patients. Not just one, but multiple managers have always provided a great review of Iqbal and his care. He seemingly exceeds all standards of problem solving, critical thinking, priority setting, time management,
implementing and revising plan of care at every facility he travels to. Iqbal is one of one and is an amazing nurse and I’m so proud and happy that he represents Stability Healthcare.”
