Do NOT take handfuls of Tylenol to “prove” a point. This is not a stunt. This is life and death.

• Acetaminophen overdose can cause acute liver failure — it can be fatal and may require an urgent liver transplant.

• In pregnancy you are risking your life and your baby’s future.

• New pregnancy guidance is precautionary and based on science: use acetaminophen only when medically necessary, at the lowest dose, for the shortest time.

There are reports of women in emergency rooms right now in acute liver failure. That means they have taken a lot of Tylenol all at once, please don’t be that dumb.. 👉 About 15 extra-strength (500 mg) Tylenol tablets at once can be enough to cause liver failure in an adult pregnant woman.
