🐴 Fun Fact Friday! 🐴

Did you know that horses are measured in hands instead of feet or inches? A "hand" is an old unit of measurement equal to 4 inches! Horses are measured from the ground to the highest point of their shoulders, called the withers.

Today, our campers had fun discovering how many "hands" tall they are and comparing their height to our amazing horses!

🐴 Fun Fact Friday! 🧪

Did you know that at camp we do so much more than just horse activities? While we love spending time in the barn, we also have lots of fun learning through hands-on STEM activities!

This week our campers:
🥚 Tested how toothpaste protects teeth with our egg and soda experiment
🦷 Learned which animal has the most bacteria in its mouth
🚀 Launched bottle rockets
🥤 Putting mentos in soda (a classic favorite!)
🧊 Made special popsicles for the horses
🐎 Learned all about the horse’s digestive tract

It’s been a week full of learning, laughter, and lots of fun both in and out of the barn!
