SUNY Niagara’s Nursing and Massage Therapy programs were proud to participate in the Niagara County Department of Health Community Health Fair! 💙

Community service is an important part of both programs, providing students with valuable opportunities to engage with the community while promoting health, wellness, and education. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to support the residents of Niagara County and contribute to this meaningful event.

A special thank you to Nursing faculty member Lana Byl and Massage Therapy faculty members Jillian Roberts and Jennifer Koplas for their dedication to our students and for helping make this experience possible. Their mentorship and support continue to enrich our students’ learning both inside and outside the classroom.

We proudly celebrate William Kerr, recipient of SUNY Niagara Nursing’s Graduate Membership Award, and Kareen Klettke, SUNY Niagara Nursing’s nominee for Nurse of Distinction in Education, at the Professional Nurses Association of Western New York Awards Dinner held on June 2nd.

The Nursing Simulation Lab Assistant Professor will lead and manage educational experiences in our state-of-the-art Simulation Lab for both the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Certificate and Registered Nurse (RN) Associate Degree programs.

This 10-month position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, organized, and effective learning environment within the radiologic technology lab.

Today, we proudly recognize the dedication, compassion, and hard work of our NUR112 students as they completed simulation experiences as part of their Medical/Surgical clinical training. These hands-on learning opportunities help students build the critical thinking, teamwork, and life-saving skills that are essential in the nursing profession.
