☀️🌺 Tropical Tuesday brought a little sunshine to campus! 🌺☀️

Our Nursing faculty and staff traded their scrubs and professional attire for tropical shirts, bright colors, and island vibes as we celebrated Tropical Tuesday during a planned Spirit Week.

While the commitment to student success remains the top priority, strong teams are built through collaboration, support, and shared experiences. Events like Spirit Week help us strengthen the connections that make our programs successful.

SUNY Niagara is looking for a full-time Nursing Simulation/Skills Lab Technical Assistant to join our Nursing team!

This is a NEW position and a great opportunity for an experienced nurse or a nurse looking to take the next step in their career to use their clinical knowledge in an educational setting.

In this role, you’ll help prepare and operate our state-of-the-art simulation and skills labs, support faculty during clinical simulations, maintain simulation equipment, and work directly with nursing students as they develop the hands-on skills and confidence they need for real-world patient care.

We were thrilled to welcome a very special visitor to the SUNY Niagara Nursing Simulation Lab—Tripp, our SUNY Niagara mascot! 🐾

During the visit, Tripp had the opportunity to explore how our state-of-the-art simulation lab plays a vital role in supporting student success across our nursing programs. From high-fidelity mannequins to realistic clinical scenarios, the SIM Lab provides students with a safe, hands-on environment to build critical thinking, clinical judgment, and confidence before entering real-world patient care settings.

Simulation-based learning is a cornerstone of our commitment to excellence in nursing education. It allows students to practice skills, make decisions, and learn from experiences in a supportive space—all while being guided by expert faculty.
