The more you know yourself, the more intentional you become about who gets access to you.

The more you become aware of your emotional needs, your desires, your boundaries, and what true compatibility feels like, the more you realize that not everyone can occupy the space you wish they could in your life.

Sometimes we meet someone with whom we share a beautiful connection. There is attraction, chemistry, curiosity, tenderness, and genuine care.

And yet, that doesn’t necessarily mean this person is compatible with us in the ways we deeply desire.

And this is where self-awareness becomes so important.

Because the more you understand yourself, the more clearly you can recognize where someone truly belongs in your life, rather than trying to fit them into the space you have been longing to fill.

Sometimes that means allowing someone to be a friend rather than a romantic partner. Sometimes it means slowing down. Sometimes it means acknowledging that, despite the connection, certain needs simply cannot be met within that relationship.

And that doesn’t make either person wrong.

It simply means that love, attraction, and compatibility are not always the same thing.

The challenging part is learning to honor what is actually present instead of holding on to what we wish could be.

Especially when our inner child is still longing to be chosen, loved, seen, and finally have those unmet needs fulfilled.

But the more we learn to meet those parts of ourselves with compassion, the less we need to abandon our own truth to preserve a connection.

We can appreciate someone deeply without needing them to become someone they are not.

And we can honor our desire for intimacy without compromising the needs that make intimacy feel safe, nourishing, and fulfilling.

This is part of what emotional maturity and inner child integration look like in real life.

✨ If you’re ready to explore the unconscious patterns that shape your relationships, I’m offering a FREE 3-Day Inner Child Healing Challenge to help you recognize old emotional patterns, reconnect with your needs, and create space for the loving, aligned relationship you desire.

I’m noticing a pattern in spiritual spaces: people can spend years exploring their subconscious through visualizations and healing journeys, yet still struggle to stay present with the emotions in their bodies.

When pain arises, it’s often explained away as “karmic” or “for my expansion” before it’s actually felt.

But both can be true: a relationship can invite growth, and your hurt can still deserve care and attention.

The next shift in spirituality will be from explaining our emotions to actually feeling them. More people will question practices that turn every painful experience into a lesson without making room for the hurt. Spiritual growth will increasingly mean staying present with what’s happening in the body.

Are you noticing this too?

Everyone is asking:

“Where are the good men?”
“Where are the good women?”
“Where is my soulmate?”

But here’s a question we don’t ask nearly enough:

How much have you invested in becoming emotionally capable of the relationship you’re asking for?

We invest in our businesses.
We invest in our bodies.
We invest in our appearance, experiences, homes and careers.

Yet somehow we expect our emotional body to magically heal and mature on its own.

But getting older doesn’t automatically heal childhood wounds.

It doesn’t automatically teach you how to communicate, receive love, set boundaries, navigate conflict, recognize emotional availability, or stop repeating familiar relationship patterns.

If you want someone to know and love you deeply, start by asking:

How deeply do I know myself?

Because love isn’t only about finding the right person.

It’s also about becoming emotionally available for the kind of relationship you say you want.

If you’re ready to look beneath your relationship patterns, I’m offering a free discovery call where we can explore:

What is standing between you today and the life you want to be living with the love you desire?

We’ll look at the patterns, beliefs and emotional resistance that may be operating underneath the surface—and what may be ready to change.

“When a trauma gets triggered, you don’t act your age — you act the age you were when the wound formed.”

Sometimes a reaction feels bigger than the moment because an old wound is asking to be seen. Healing begins when we meet that part of ourselves with curiosity instead of shame.

We are vessels of manifestation by default. ✨

Consciously creating what we want is a beautiful practice—but sometimes it’s like trying to walk faster while carrying a heavy bag of rocks tied to your leg.

You can put in more effort… or you can put the bag down.

That’s what shadow work and inner child integration can do. We bring awareness to the unconscious beliefs, fears, and protective patterns that may be creating resistance to the love, abundance, health, and life we desire.

When we integrate those parts, we don’t necessarily need to push harder. We simply have less weight to carry.

I’m inviting you to join my FREE 3-Day Inner Child Integration Challenge in exchange for your feedback/testimonial and two referrals. 🤍
