On today’s episode of Restaurant Adventures with Brenda part 2, I had decided when I left Savannah, Georgia, that I wanted a burger for dinner. I even selected a restaurant, B&W Burgers, Buns and Brew. However, when I got there it was clear they had a party going on and I was told they were closed for a private event. 😢
So I could either go to another burger place that I had found previously or change my plan. I was tired and ready to grab dinner then go to the hotel. There are at least 3 other restaurants within the immediate vicinity and I saw Zapata and walked over there. Mexican is always a good choice, am I right? 🙌🏽
I saw that they had Enchiladas de Mole on the menu and I asked the server of she’d ever had them. She asked me if I’ve ever had mole before and I told her yes then she tells me theirs is really good. I ask her if the sauce is a dark color and she confirmed that it was. Another thing to thank Rusty Devor for is that I know what a good mole should taste like. 😉
They definitely nailed it! The rice could’ve used something like salsa and more seasoning, but I ate it. The beans were pretty yummy. I would definitely get the enchiladas again but maybe ask for a double side of refried beans. The nachos and salsa were awesome and the salsa had a bit of a kick to it. I’m giving this meal a solid 9/10. ⭐️
