As always, here at Solstice Senior Living in Sandy we love a good party. Our Oktoberfest was one for the books.
We started with Happy Hour. We served several different German b**rs, w**e, root b**r, pretzels and peanuts. German music was playing throughout the building. Then came soft, warm, straight out of the oven Pretzel bites. And let's not forget the creamy b**r cheese to dunk them in.
Chef Mitch prepared a wonderful, tender schnitzel covered in a creamy mushroom gravy. He paired it with braised red cabbage and amazing german potato salad. That was followed up by your choice of black forest cake or german chocolate brownies. Yes, we could have stopped there....but we didn't.
Our entertainment that night was amazing. He played the accordion and the bells. He took small breaks in between and shared fun facts about germany, about their music and food.
Our staff was on point. Our residents were laughing, clapping, singing, dancing, and the smiles on their faces told us we had given them a night to remember.
Thank you to all the guests who joined us. We appreciate your love and support. We cant wait to see you again.

🍍🔥What a night! Our annual Luau celebration was one for the books!!

Residents enjoyed spectacular hula dancing, jaw dropping fire performances, delicious island inspired cuisine, and plenty of fun with family and friends. The smiles, laughter, and energy throughout the evening, reminded us why community celebrations are so special.
