✨Peptides are basically short chains of amino acids that my body is already using all day long as little messengers. They tell my cells what to do…like repair tissue, support recovery, regulate metabolism, build collagen, and keep everything communicating the way it should.
✨When I eat protein, my body breaks it down into amino acids and peptides, then uses those pieces to rebuild and support whatever it needs in the moment. So they’re not anything “extra,” they’re already part of how we function.
✨I think the reason peptides get a bad reputation is because the word gets lumped in with synthetic or injectable versions people talk about in fitness and aesthetics. That creates a lot of confusion, even though peptides themselves are just a normal, essential part of human biology.
✨At the end of the day, they’re just one of the body’s main communication systems doing their job behind the scenes.✌🏻🫶🏻❤️
