“We should start a Kaizen Women’s Group”…..

Done ✅

Before you make jokes, no I’m not running this one!

What the hell do I know about women besides how to make them angry (elite level achieved) 😂

Maybe they can teach me a few things 🤷🏻

This is being run by some incredible women who like me just want to create community outside of social media.

Share this with women in your life that could use community, support, accountability and encouragement to be the best version of themselves every day.

So much more coming with the Kaizen Groups as we work towards Non Profit status and some amazing partners that will bring professional mental health services to these groups, crossover events for Men/ Women, community service projects, cooking classes and retreats.

My original idea was a community where men could grab coffee, talk, hold each other accountable and be forced to look within at what we can influence in our lives to make them better without blaming anyone or anything else. We have the power to change our thoughts, actions, behaviors and therefore habits.

It worked. It’s working.

I’m excited to see what these amazing women can create and hope to see some of you be a part of it!

Acceptance and integration of all parts of ourselves create the whole man.

This breakdown is incredible, well done 𝐈𝐯𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐬 | 𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡

Shoutout to Kyfer for this incredible illustration of my favorite book on parenting.

I read this book 9 years ago prior to the birth of my first child. It shaped the way I look at her and how I parent in a very powerful way. It also shaped the type of information I sought on parenting.

I highly recommend any of Dr. Dan Siegel books they are invaluable tools in my parenting experience.

Haven’t shared books for awhile. Quick listen, amazing book to reflect on giving, reciprocity and lifting a community through giving.

What is our relationship with giving as a community?

What is a gift economy?

How do we nurture our community so it can nurture itself in reciprocity?

Give. Serve.

Share your story it doesn’t have to be otherworldly trauma to be valuable. Your

Share your knowledge, it doesn’t have to be a PHD to help someone that doesn’t know it

This quote is amazing. So many people have all the answers on how to fix people, society, social structures and more.

When we go inward and do the work on ourselves we can bring forward the version of us that best reflects the changes we wish to see in all other areas.

Have you met your monster yet? Connor Beaton | Relationships + Men’s Work With another great gem for us.

Going into shadow and inner child work inevitably leads down the road of not just how and why we react to triggers but where they came from and why the defense mechanisms we use to stay safe felt so protective to us at one point in life.

As we mature and get older, those defense mechanism start to feel like we are constantly bumping up against what matters to us most with negativity, emotion and an empty feeling of “Why did this scenario play out like this yet again, it’s not true to me even though it came from me?”

Finding your “monster”, integrating it, why and what parts it’s meant to protect us from in a healthy way can be incredibly impactful for us as men and the people close to us.

Su***de and depression suck.

Grateful to be invited to this event by some great friends.

It was insightful to hear the comedians answer these 5 questions to the audience in real time after the show. Incredible vulnerability in a room full of strangers. Pretty damn cool.

If you know me well these are the conversations I crave with people.

The men’s group has shown me without question we all share the same emotions underneath whatever our surface level behavior is to deal with those emotions.

If we look past those behaviors it becomes so much easier to see our own pain reflecting back in the person sitting across from us.

I thought these questions were worth sharing.

#1. What does your depression FEEL like?

#2. What do others do that makes it worse?

#3. What do others do that makes it better?

#4. What do you do that makes it worse?

#5. What do you do that makes it better?

Share these with someone that might be struggling, you never know how it may impact them!

Join us for a FREE event with Hypnotherapist Craig Bickmore where we will discuss the subconscious mind, its impact on our thoughts and actions and how Hypnotherapy can help bring the subconscious patterns we follow to the conscious.

Craig Bickmore has been a member of ACHE for over thirty years and considers hypnotherapy his passion instead of his occupation. He has seen the incredible power that the proper application of hypnotherapy principles has on the lives of those he has worked with. Craig developed a training program “Corporate Thought Dynamics” that he used extensively to train hundreds of sales, management and business leaders how to identify the “false” limiting beliefs they had latched on to over the years and methodically change them to goal oriented “correct” beliefs.

In addition to the personal and group work that he does, Craig co-authored a book “Spiritual Mind Management” with his friend Dennis Parker in 2013 which describes the benefits of hypnotherapy as it explains how the mind, brain and body all connect.
