Join us for a FREE event with Hypnotherapist Craig Bickmore where we will discuss the subconscious mind, its impact on our thoughts and actions and how Hypnotherapy can help bring the subconscious patterns we follow to the conscious.

Craig Bickmore has been a member of ACHE for over thirty years and considers hypnotherapy his passion instead of his occupation. He has seen the incredible power that the proper application of hypnotherapy principles has on the lives of those he has worked with. Craig developed a training program “Corporate Thought Dynamics” that he used extensively to train hundreds of sales, management and business leaders how to identify the “false” limiting beliefs they had latched on to over the years and methodically change them to goal oriented “correct” beliefs.

In addition to the personal and group work that he does, Craig co-authored a book “Spiritual Mind Management” with his friend Dennis Parker in 2013 which describes the benefits of hypnotherapy as it explains how the mind, brain and body all connect.

Fear is a word a lot of men struggle with.

Understanding we have subconscious fears driving so much of our behavior can be challenging for a lot of men to connect with.

Identifying our fears, where they come from and there for how to manage them can be life changing for men.

Join us this Wednesday to take a deeper look at fear!

Another great experience with and at the studio.

For me these experiences are like guard rails to keep me focused on being present, in my body and aware of where I am going in life right now. Breathwork, yin yoga and meditation are some of my go to methods to focus and to do them all in the same night is always a great feeling. The journaling prompts they provide at the end are a great way to carry positive thoughts through the week and reflect on what I can do to stay present and positive.

This time I was joined by a couple special guests and met some new friends!

Keep an eye out for the next night with these amazing people in January and hope to see some new faces there!

For me the last two years have included a lot of learning about Attachment Styles. Why do/ did I attach to different people in different ways, specifically intimate relationships ships. Understanding the science and research behind attachment opened my eyes to my anxiety, to my avoidance and to the parts of myself I could never name and in some cases didn’t even realize I was carrying.

What I found was parts of myself that needed my attention, repair and compassion.

Attachment styles are no excuse to be a bad parent, partner or friend, to shut down, to cling, to smother, to avoid but when we understand where our subconscious behaviors come from it makes healing those parts and developing secure attachment an achievable goal.

If you are anxious, avoidant or maybe a bit of both, often times we use them all with different relationships in life, asking yourself where those behaviors come from in your past may be the key to finally resolving them and becoming secure with yourself, your emotions and the relationships you value in life.

I feel like for my generation and those older than me therapy has a bit of stigma. I can only speak for myself in this life but this post hit hard for me.

We all have something. One thing Kaizen Men’s Group has shown me clearly is we all have different paths, different experiences but we all absolutely feel so many of the same emotions through those different experiences. I also see how hard it is for us as men to truly know how to deal with them, to obtain the tools to deal with them. Brotherhood and the group is one amazing tool, but from my experience therapy you give yourself to and are willing to face all of yourself in can have an incredible impact on yourself and those around you.
