Gardening is beautiful for the soul… but it can be surprisingly stressful on the skin. 🌿☀️
Most people think about sunburn when they think of outdoor skin damage — but gardeners experience so much more than that.
Hours of cumulative UV exposure, heat, sweating, dirt, pollen, wind and repeated washing can slowly impact:
• hydration levels
• collagen health
• inflammation
• skin barrier function
• pigmentation
• overall skin resilience
And one of the biggest things I see?
Dehydrated skin being mistaken for “dry skin” or the need for more exfoliation.
Your skin may not be asking for harsher products.
It may simply be asking for support. 💧
The goal is never to avoid the outdoors or stop doing something you love. Gardening is grounding, calming, therapeutic and deeply connected to wellness in so many ways.
The goal is learning how to protect and care for your skin while living your life fully in the sunshine. 🌱✨
SPF. Hydration. Barrier repair. Antioxidants. Consistency.
Healthy skin thrives when it’s supported through the seasons — just like a garden does.
