My early morning hike gifted me a hawk feather today and as I love to dwell in the magic of creation, I walked with this feather in my hand. As she spoke her words a poem poured out of me and by the time I reached home she was complete! 🙏🪶💚

The Feather
As the mist bowed in the presence of peace and quiet of an early morning rising and tucked there within the softness, the sweetness of quietest places in nature, a treasure awaits discovery. A beetle stirs beneath her shelter, a gift from Hawk and sky, a feather, a traveler of wind once caught between worlds, laid to rest by the helpers of the returning, fairies, who walk amongst leaves and winding broken branches, a world entwined within the sound of whispering stories of death and decay. It is always where the great mother welcomes the fallen and a breath of life like out stretched wings gives rise to a new day.

Where the tender touch of a soft wind came gliding across the winding branches of a tree, peace took up residence in my heart. Perched gently upon a branch, a Buddha head laid to rest there as though it had always been, peaceful and poetic. I arose within my Spirit, prayer weaving through my soul, as words began to seed amidst the light, spiraling intently towards my heart, each harmonious breath, forging a journey, a pathway, a pathway of hope, a promise of a new day. Like a flower at first bloom, each petal unfolding a story, strengthening a deeper and illuminating connection with Mother Earth and all the untraveled roads lined with possibilities that lay ahead.

Owl medicine is so strong and beautiful, to be in their presence as a student of life is so humbling for me and to have them come be a teacher and guide. They really see into our soul! There is no hiding or illusion.
