Nobody remembered that day.
Nobody except her nervous system.
She was a little girl, rushing to school.
Just a few minutes late.
When she opened the classroom door, it was empty.
Her whole class had already gone to take the school photo.
She stood there alone in that empty room.
And her little nervous system recorded it as:
“I am not safe. I do not belong.”
Trauma is anything that overwhelms the nervous system.
It doesn't have to be loud.
It doesn't have to make sense to anyone else.
That feeling stayed in her body for decades.
It showed up in her life as a fear of being left alone.
When your nervous system stays in survival mode, it affects your health, your relationships, and your energy.
The body keeps the score long after the mind has moved on.
When she finally understood where the feeling came from, something softened.
She wasn't broken.
Her body had just been trying to protect her all along.
And that's where healing began.
Maybe you know someone who is stuck in repeated patterns in their career, relationships, health, or finances.
Share this with them. They don’t have to figure it out alone.
