What an unforgettable afternoon at JW House’s Celebration of Hope 2026 💙

This past Sunday, our community came together at Scotts Ballroom for an incredible day filled with compassion, generosity, and hope in support of families facing medical crisis.

From the moving family testimonial and inspiring guest speakers to the excitement of the live auction, raffle, Fund-a-Need, and paddle raise moments — every part of the afternoon reflected the power of community coming together for something bigger than ourselves.

Because of YOU, JW House can continue providing comfort, meals, housing, and support to families who need it most during some of life’s most difficult moments.

🛠️ Armanino Volunteer Day at JW House! 🛠️

Last week, the incredible team from Armanino spent the day at JW House for a corporate volunteer event, helping us care for the spaces that care for our families.

From deep cleaning our upholstery to painting the backyard fence gates, their hard work and generosity made a huge impact throughout the house. These projects help us maintain a warm, welcoming environment for families facing medical crisis—and we are so grateful for their support.

Community Impact in Action 💛

We’re incredibly grateful to the Kiwanis Club of Santa Clara for their generous donation of a brand new dishwasher at JW House!

With the increase in Day-Use guests and more families relying on our meals and services, upgrading our kitchen equipment has become essential. This new dishwasher will help us serve more families efficiently—making sure every guest has access to clean dishes, warm meals, and a welcoming space.

A special thank you to Jeff Caffoe for helping make this partnership possible and connecting JW House with Kiwanis.

🚗 Event Recap: Silicon Valley Cruise at JW House 🚗

On May 2nd, JW House had the pleasure of hosting the kickoff for the Silicon Valley Cruise, brought to life by the incredible Northern California F-100 Elites.

Our house served as the starting point for the day—where participants gathered, showcased their stunning vehicles, and had their cars judged before heading out on the cruise. We loved welcoming everyone with coffee and donuts to kick things off!

Every single car was a work of art, and the energy was incredible from start to finish.

A huge thank you to Ron Wood for organizing such a fantastic event—and for dedicating all proceeds to support JW House and the families we serve. We’re so grateful to be part of such a passionate and generous community! 💛

Event Recap: Santa Clara Relay for Life 💜

This past Saturday, JW House had the honor of attending the Relay For Life in Santa Clara—a powerful gathering dedicated to honoring cancer survivors, remembering loved ones lost, and raising critical funds for cancer research and patient support.

Throughout the day, we had the opportunity to listen to inspiring speakers, participate in the cancer walk, and connect directly with patients, survivors, and advocates. It was incredibly meaningful to share how JW House supports families during some of their most challenging moments—offering comfort, care, and a place to rest when it’s needed most.

⚾ A Night to Remember at the Ballpark ⚾

Last Thursday, JW House had the incredible honor of attending a San Francisco Giants game through their “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” initiative: an amazing program that provides tickets to local nonprofits serving the community.

Because of this generosity, our staff, volunteers, and families were able to enjoy a special night together at the ballpark, sharing smiles, laughter, and a much-needed moment of joy.

Experiences like these mean so much to the families we serve, offering a chance to step away, connect, and create lasting memories.
