This May, we’re honoring AANHPI Heritage Month — and having honest conversations about equity in infant feeding. 🌺
AANHPI families are too often grouped into one broad category in public health data, hiding real disparities and cultural differences that affect the support mothers receive.
At Nursing Mothers Counsel, we believe every mother deserves care that truly sees and reflects her experience. 💛

One of our own in the Nursing Mothers Counsel community is going through something incredibly heavy right now. Pam, a beloved mom and small business owner of , has been diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer.

She’s stepping away from work to focus fully on healing, while navigating the stress of medical expenses.

If you’re able to support in any way, it would mean so much to our community. And if not, sharing or sending love and prayers is deeply appreciated 🤍

“Should I keep breastfeed my toddler?”

Here’s a great video highlighting why you should continue as long as you and your baby/toddler/preschooler want to and as long as it works for you and your child. Support is impoetant, but no one but you and your child should make the decision for you.

Nursing Mothers Counsel will be popping up at the Patagonia Outlet Store on December 19 from 11:30 AM – 3:00 PM. Come say hello, get some holiday shopping done, and learn about all the free resources we offer including breastfeeding classes, counseling, support groups, and pump rentals.
