Today, we proudly celebrated freedom, culture, heritage, and community at Mrs. Gary's Annual Juneteenth Celebration at Victorious Assisted Living!

Our residents, families, staff, and guests came together for a day filled with fellowship, laughter, meaningful conversations, beautiful performances, and heartfelt reflection on the significance of Juneteenth. Seeing generations unite to honor this important part of our history made the day truly special.

A very special thank you to Mrs. Gary for sharing her passion, leadership, and commitment to keeping the spirit and history of Juneteenth alive for our residents and community each year.

We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to all of our amazing volunteers who generously gave their time, talents, and energy to make this celebration a success. Your dedication helped create a memorable experience for everyone involved.

And a huge thank you to Fat & Juicy BBQ of La Marque for providing a delicious meal that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. Your generosity and outstanding food helped make this celebration even more meaningful.

At Victorious Assisted Living, we believe that honoring our history, celebrating our culture, and building community are essential to enriching the lives of those we serve.

Readers' Choice is back!
Help us to be recognized as the best assisted living facility again this year. Nominations begin June 10 for the 2026 Readers' Choice contest, with the top five nominees in each category advancing to the voting round on July 24.

Nominations close at 11:59 p.m. July 2. Participants may submit one nomination per category, per day, using a valid email address. Nominations are recorded when you click the Vote button; there is no final submit button.

We wrapped up nurses week with a special banana split social in honor of our facility nurse. Happy Nurses Week and thank you all for the critical role each of you play in healthcare, patient advocacy, and community well-being.
