The New Mexico Department of Health is alerting the public to stop use of any Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic infant formula products immediately after the product was linked to three infant hospitalizations and recalled nationwide

If you have leftover opened cans of Nara Organics infant formula, take a picture and record the lot number and use-by date. Label it “DO NOT USE” and keep it stored in a safe place away from other items you feed your baby for at least a month. If your infant develops signs and symptoms of infant botulism, NMDOH may want to test the formula. If no symptoms appear after a month, throw the leftover formula out.

Parents with non-urgent questions can call the NMDOH Helpline at 1-833-SWNURSE (1-833-796-8773) or text questions to 66364 (NMDOH).

El Departamento de Salud de Nuevo México advierte a la población que deje de consumir cualquier producto de la marca Nara Organics Whole Milk Organic destinado a la alimentación infantil de inmediato, tras haberse asociado dicho producto con tres hospitalizaciones de bebés y haberse procedido a su retirada del mercado a nivel nacional

Si tiene envases abiertos de leche de fórmula para lactantes de la marca Nara Organics, tome una fotografía y anote el número de lote y la fecha de caducidad. Etiquételos con la indicación "NO UTILIZAR" y manténgalos en un lugar seguro, alejado de otros productos con los que alimente a su bebé, durante al menos un mes. Si su bebé presenta signos y síntomas de botulismo infantil, es posible que el NMDOH desee analizar la leche de fórmula. Si no aparecen síntomas al cabo de un mes, deseche la leche de fórmula restante.

Los padres que tengan preguntas no urgentes pueden llamar a la línea de asistencia del NMDOH al 1-833-SWNURSE (1-833-796-8773) o enviar sus preguntas por mensaje de texto al 66364 (NMDOH).

We’re celebrating over 30,000 New Mexicans getting their measles vaccination!

Between February 1, 2025, and May 27, 2025, a total of 30,467 individuals have received their measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccines across the state.

Together, we’re making strides toward a healthier community. Thank you to everyone involved – healthcare workers, volunteers, and everyone getting vaccinated!

Looking to get vaccinated? The following Public Health Offices offer daily measles vaccinations with no appointment needed.

¡Celebramos que más de 30,000 habitantes de Nuevo México se hayan vacunado contra el sarampión!

Entre el 1 de febrero de 2025 y el 27 de mayo de 2025, un total de 30,467 personas han recibido sus vacunas contra el sarampión, las paperas y la rubéola (MMR) en todo el estado.

Juntos, estamos avanzando hacia una comunidad más saludable. ¡Gracias a todos los involucrados: trabajadores de la salud, voluntarios y a todas las personas que se están vacunando!
