Wellness Wednesday consisted of an interactive health presentation by our lovely nurses. The topic was self-care and how important it is for our health especially as we age!

May is Mental Health Awareness month. It can be hard to speak about our mental health and even harder to reach out for support. However, our mental health should be one of our main priorities.

In 2024, 1 in 5 U.S adults have experienced a mental illness such as depression. This could be your aunt, friend, coworker or neighbor. A reminder that you never know the weight of one’s mental health.

Remember to take a breath, go outside, or talk to a friend. You are not alone 💚

José Juan Ibarra, a representative from Assemblyman Greg Hart’s office stopped by to visit the Adult Day Health Center today. Mr. Ibarra took time to see the incredible work the team does on a daily basis to ensure members are safe and well taken care of.

Highlighting the importance of connection, collaboration, and community when serving those most vulnerable. Thank you Mr. Ibarra!

Starting Monday off to a healthy start! 💪

Here at the Wisdom Center members are encouraged to move daily and are assisted with their goals according to their health plan.

Movement is incredibly important as we age. Regular activity combats muscle loss and can strengthen joints while promoting mental, social and emotional well-being.
