We came for the tennis. We left with so much more. 🤍🎾

Two days at US Open Fan Week reminded me that movement, wellness and joy don’t always look like a workout.

Yes, there was incredible tennis. Watching athletes up close. Trying new things between matches. Walking for hours. Cheering from the stands.

But my favorite part? Being there with my kids and taking it all in.

The laughs. The little moments. The shared experiences. The memories I know we’ll talk about long after the last ball is hit.

Because sometimes movement looks like walking all day, exploring somewhere new, cheering for something you love, laughing with your people and being fully present for the moment you’re in.

That counts, too. 🤍

A little reminder as we head into the weekend: make room for the things that energize you—not just the things on your to-do list.

And there’s one more day of Fan Week tomorrow (Saturday)… 🎾 Who’s joining me? 👋

There’s a lot of pressure to always be doing more.

More workouts. More goals. More productivity.

But sometimes, the most powerful thing you can do is slow down and reconnect with yourself. 🌊

Movement doesn’t always have to be intense to matter. Sometimes it’s yoga, a deep breath, feeling the sun on your skin, or simply being present for a few quiet minutes.

Maybe this is what fitness is really for. 👇🏼

This week, I paddle boarded. Surfed. Chased soccer balls. Lugged everything to the beach, and back. Kayaked with my MIL. Served up a great game of tennis with my kids. Hit a hole in one in mini golf. Took on some seriously challenging water slides. And walked A LOT. 😂🌊🎾

None of it felt like a “workout.”

But all of it required a body that could move, keep up, try something new and enjoy the moment.

That’s the reminder I’m taking home with me:

Fitness isn’t just about strength or aesthetics. It’s about having the energy, mobility and confidence to say YES to your life.

Because the goal isn’t just to build a body that looks strong.

It’s to build one that lets you live fully. ❤️

Balance is strength. 💪🏼🌊

Warrior 3 looks simple… until you try to hold it! 😉 This yoga pose challenges your core, balance, stability, glutes, hamstrings and mental focus all at once.

And that’s what I love about movement—it doesn’t have to look like a traditional workout to make you stronger.

At Sweat for Smiles, we believe in moving in ways that challenge us, energize us and connect us—with ourselves and with each other. ❤️

Who else loves a good balance challenge?

Summer = finding more ways to play. 🎾☀️

Apparently, chasing a little yellow ball around for an hour is good for your heart, your brain AND your mood. 🎾😉

I’ll take my workout with a side of sunshine, competition and fun.

Happy summer—see you on the court! ☀️

Bullseye… or bust. 🎯🏹

What started as “let’s try archery” quickly turned into a little mom-son competition. 😂

We missed. We laughed. We kept trying. And then… bullseye! 🎯

This is one of my favorite things about movement: it doesn’t always have to be about a workout, a PR, or how hard you can push. Sometimes it’s about trying something new, having fun, and connecting with the people you love. ❤️

Because movement can create more than strength—it can create memories.

What’s something you’ve tried lately just for fun?

From NRTHRN Strong’s Signature Founders Friday workout this morning 💪🏼⚡️

The last time I did this workout was at our Sweat for Smiles “Mama Strong” event in May—and WOW, I felt the difference today.

This summer, I’ve been much more intentional about strength training and lifting heavier weights, and today was such a great reminder that consistency really does make you stronger. 🔥

The workout? Challenging. The burn? Real. The feeling after? Hurt so good. 😂

A few takeaways:
✨ Don’t be afraid to lift heavier—progressive overload matters.
✨ You don’t have to be perfect; consistency over time is what builds strength.
✨ Getting stronger isn’t just about how you look—it’s about what your body can DO.
✨ Sometimes the best proof of progress is realizing, “Whoa, that used to feel a lot harder.”

And of course, thank you NRTHRN STRONG for having me! So fun to sweat, connect, and meet some new faces in the community. 🤍

So nice meeting you, Steph Oh Shani Atar Twins Talk Taste & Zahra Giga - already looking forward to the next one!

Yoga has a funny way of reminding you that your body is always evolving. 🧘🏼‍♀️✨

My first yoga class in a while—and it hurt so good. 😂 My workouts are always evolving, and yoga tends to work its way in and out of my weekly routine depending on what my body (and life!) needs.

After this class with at Ellin Gurvitch | High Achiever Therapist & Performance Coach recent yoga event, I left feeling stronger, more grounded, and inspired to bring yoga back into my routine.

A few yoga reminders from Zoe that stuck with me:
✨ DON’T FORCE THE POSE. Meet your body where it is today.
✨ YOUR BREATH MATTERS. Use it to settle into the movement rather than rushing through it.
✨ CONSISTENCY OVER PERFECTION. Even a short practice can make a difference.

The best workout routine is one that evolves with you—and includes movement that challenges, strengthens and restores you.

What workout are you inspired to get back to lately? 💙
