The only workout you can sit through.

A 20-year Finnish study found one habit cut sudden cardiac death by 63%.

2,315 guys in eastern Finland. Tracked for two decades.
The only thing being compared: how often they sat in the sauna.

Compared to once a week, the men who went 4–7 times had:
- 63% lower risk of sudden cardiac death
- 50% lower risk of fatal heart disease
- 40% lower risk of dying from anything

The longer they sat, the bigger the gap. 19+ minute sessions cut sudden cardiac death almost in half vs. sessions under 11.

What worked: 4+ times a week, 15–20 minutes each, traditional Finnish dry sauna (~175°F).

Why? Your heart doesn't know you're sitting still. In a hot sauna it runs at 120–150 bpm which is about the same as a brisk walk.
