My last post was almost a year ago and sooo much has changed! 🤗
My husband and I became foster parents, we brought home a precious newborn baby boy, we moved, another adorable baby came to live with us, and my husband started a new job.
Crazy that my last post was about moms and, a year later, now I have the honor to be a foster mother to 2 precious babies. I have been so blessed and humbled to learn what it’s like first hand to be a parent, to have sleepless nights, to schedule therapies around nap times, to advocate for the children in my home, to find quality childcare, to wash bottle constantly, to love deeply and sacrifice because they matter more than anything.
During this time, my Big Steps Physical Therapy caseload has shifted but I have continued to see new clients within 3 weeks of first contact. My patients have continued to succeed and their resilience inspires me daily. I’m so excited for this next season as I learn to be a better PT as a new mom, add more therapists to my team, and make an impact in the lives of more families and their little ones.
