North Country native Mary Ellen Faubert graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education and Fine Arts. Now retired after a rewarding 40-year career in education and social services, she has embraced the opportunity to devote more time to her lifelong passion for creating art

Always drawn to portraiture and the art of crochet, Mary Ellen challenged herself to take her craft a step further by creating imaginative 3D figures inspired by beloved pop culture characters. Each piece is carefully handcrafted using a variety of materials, including yarn, embroidery thread, felt, paint, cardboard, and other mixed media, resulting in unique works full of personality and charm.

Whether you’re a fan of nostalgic characters, handcrafted art, or simply appreciate the time and care that goes into every piece, we hope you’ll enjoy exploring Mary Ellen’s collection.

Another farm tour in the books! This time we went to Plattsburgh to visit our friends North Point Community Farm
Just about 5 years ago Mike & Marisa took over an old dairy farm and turned it into something beautiful! The work they’ve done in such a short time is absolutely inspiring.
We are thrilled to support these guys, their organic practices, and all they do for the communities around them.

On July 26th, our produce pals had the amazing opportunity to visit Juniper Hill and learn about organic farming! Adam, owner and farmer, answered all our questions, showcased his farming tools, he either bought or fixed himself, and educated us on how he organically manages pests!

A true testament to local communities, Adam is part of the Farm to School Movement, where he services fresh, local, organic produce to 22 school districts across the Adirondacks!

We are so grateful to have an amazing relationship with Adam at Nori’s, in fact our deli is the ONLY, local vendor that showcases this beautiful produce.

Thank you again to Adam for hosting and educating us! As the saying goes: “Don’t let California feed New York!”
