The number 1 complaint I get from clients is jowling. These are actually a result of the aging face. As we mature age, bone resorption occurs in the lateral cheek, we lose fat pads in the mid cheek, causing loss of support for the underlying ligaments. This causes the skin to fall forward and downward, creating these pesky pockets. Reducing the appearance of these typically starts in the midface, restoring what has been lost. For this lovely client, we supported the midface ligaments and lateral cheeks with hyaluronic acid filler. After restoring the foundation, we could then address the jawline to give her a tighter jawline. 💉
