✨ Vitamin C (or Emergen-C) daily — especially when traveling
✨ Vitamin D daily — supports immune health and helps boost energy
✨ Elderberry — great as a preventative option

Great news!!! New update.
Medicare will continue to pay for most telehealth services in 2026, as Congress approved a two-year extension of COVID-19 era flexibilities through the end of 2027, according to Forbes. This ensures that beneficiaries can continue to receive care from home, use audio-only, and access services without strict geographic restrictions through at least December 31, 2027.

📢 Important Update: Medicare & Telemedicine Visits

We want to keep our patients informed about changes to Medicare telehealth coverage.

According to Medicare.gov:

➡️ Through January 30, 2026:
Medicare covers telehealth services from anywhere in the U.S., including your home.

➡️ Starting January 31, 2026:
At this time, Medicare will no longer cover telemedicine appointments in our primary care setting.

You have two options:
• Change your appointment to in-person, or
• Keep a telemedicine visit at a discounted self-pay rate

➡️ If Congress changes the current policy and coverage is restored, you will be reimbursed for the telehealth fee.

What if I have a Medicare Advantage Plan or commercial insurance?

(Examples: BCBS, Cigna, Aetna)

At this time, we have not been notified of changes to telehealth coverage for these plans.
However, we strongly recommend calling your insurance company to verify coverage.

➡️ If telemedicine is not covered, you will be responsible for the telehealth fee.

🔍 We are closely monitoring future Congressional action and will quickly adjust scheduling, billing, and care delivery if coverage is restored.
