Dr. Brian and Misha Nell are BACK!

They’ve returned from their four country adventure and are ready to teach & heal!

You can learn from Misha Nell tonight in her monthly Tea & Tarot class, where we will be talking all about relationships! From romantic to friendship, Misha will break down everything you need to know to be able to get support from the cards.

You can move with Dr. BNell tomorrow during his 10 am Tai Chi class at Cypress or virtually Tuesdays at 6 pm est.

And of course you can dance with Misha Wednesdays (int and adv) or Thursdays (intro).

Both of these powerful souls are accepting clients again. So if you’d like acupuncture, reiki, shamanic healing, or a tarot session reach out & we will get you scheduled!

✨ TEN YEARS! ✨

Today marks 10 years since Dr. Brian graduated from East West College of Natural Medicine!

And today he began a chapter that would eventually lead to the founding of Cypress Pillar Healing Arts. ❤️

Of course, graduation was only the beginning.
Over the last decade, Brian has spent countless hours continuing to study, learn, listen, and deepen his understanding of Chinese medicine and the human body. He has treated aching backs and stubborn shoulders, migraines and stress, injuries and chronic conditions…and so many of those mysterious “I just don’t feel right” things that bring people through our doors. So often he is the guy people come to when they’ve “tried everything” and he meets each patient with compassion, kindness, and an incredibly supportive bedside manner.

We truly think this is what makes him truly special. It isn’t just how much he knows…It’s how much he cares.

Brian has an incredible ability to meet people exactly where they are. He listens. He thinks. He problem-solves. He celebrates your wins. And he genuinely wants every person who walks into his treatment room to leave feeling a little better than when they came in.

Ten years ago, he walked across that graduation stage. Today, there are hundreds of people who have felt better, moved better, hurt less, breathed easier, or simply felt cared for because he did.

Happy 10-year graduation anniversary, Dr. Brian.

We are so incredibly proud of you.

Here’s to the next ten years of learning, healing, growing…and probably telling people they need to drink more water. 😂

The Limpia is one of Misha Cain Nell’s favorite ways to help remove Hucha (heavy energy) from her beloved clients and friends.

A Limpia is a traditional Indigenous Latin American and Andean spiritual cleansing ritual designed to clear negative energy, emotional blocks, and physical ailments

There are many different types of Limpia, and Misha has trained in many with indigenous and western teachers. This plant bundle based cleansing (Plantas) is one that Misha loves to deploy when clients need support removing the heaviness of life. For this tool Misha personally chooses plants that wish to support the Client and then bundles them together as a tool. She then takes the Client outside and gently sweeps them with the bundle while praying for their support.

This is a beautiful practice that is so transformative - often clients feel better immediately. Coupled with other energy practices, this tradition helps tremendously with dealing with all the roughness we can encounter in life.

Congratulations to our latest cohort of Reiki practitioners!!

Welcome to our new Usui Reiki level one graduates! We are so proud of you all for taking this next step or for most of you, the first step, in your Reiki journey!

Throughout the weekend, these beautiful students worked with Misha to learn all about the Reiki energy, how to receive it, how to do self treatments, how to cleanse and be in harmony with the energy and life. In these photos, you see are fantastic graduates as well as a moment from day two when they all practice scanning energy on one another as well. This was such a beautiful group, and the level of joy and enthusiasm and happiness that they all connected and was just so wonderful.

Thank you all for joining us, and for trusting Misha to hold the space for you. Misha shares: “ each of you was just such a beautiful human and it was wonderful to experience this weekend with you. I so loved sharing the different ways to work with the energy, and you all asked so many fantastic and really thoughtful questions. That was probably my favorite part, because I always love questions and oh you all had such a rich experience because you were not at all afraid to ask them! So proud of you all and so loved sharing this with you.

Nature knows that Cypress Pillar is a magical place, where dreams and wishes come true! We regularly have rainbows up over our space. And this one was gorgeous - a double that lasted for over an hour!

🎉Congratulations to our newly certified Kurama Reiki Advance Practitioners!!🎉

These fabulous healers spent Sunday afternoon with Dr. Dr. BNell and Misha Nell learning all about acupuncture points, combinations, and how to apply Reiki to them. They learned 10 points and 4 point formulas or combinations to immediately include in their practices and also discovered 2 different Qigong exercises to help boost their Reiki flow and their own abilities to feel and direct the energy.

It was wonderful to see these practitioners work with these advanced concepts. They picked them up so quickly, and seeing the students have lots of “ah-ha” moments as they worked with the points was fantastic.

Misha writes:
Today, my beloved was the end of the rainbow. 💖🌈

And honestly? It really DOES feel like that for me (and, I’d wager, for many other folks too).

Creating community at this wonderful, beautiful space just lights me up. And I love it when Pachamama gives us a beautiful acknowledgment of that too!

We create such magic here, and so many of you are a big part of that. Thank you all for being the magic at the end of the rainbow with us!
