I have a feeling there is going to have a very specific theme at Key West Fantasy Fest this year💓
When I was 17 I worked at JC Penney Credit Regional office in Voorhees, NJ 1987.
The president was never there. I would get there early & do all the tasks I couldn't stand to do so I could listen to my Sony Walkman then sit down in his chair & watch the ducks on the lake.
I've been every one of those women. The "looking confident" newbie, the proficient manager who should be promoted & the one who gets talked about but is being polite & ignoring the bickering bitties, (oh & that wife).
I decided that I was going to be the boss. It took what felt like forever. Never had a supporting partner, spouse, trust fund...you get it. It doesn't get more blue collar than me & I'm grateful for that.
I haven't been to Fantasy Fest since 2016. Maybe it's time to go & feel the love of the island again. I love the way Violet talks to Ross. Hmmm, where did you learn sarcasm from?

Over the past week I have performed this service on myself twice. 48 hours in between each session to avoid marks & dehydration. The next one is tomorrow. I'll be posting the videos & results next week then continuing the series at home in Florida.
It doesn't look it, but it's a luxurious service. It promotes healthy skin, muscle, flow of lymph & blood circulation. Stimulates collagen & elastin production with out stretching the tissue. And it is way more effective when receiving it. I'll share the equipment I brought with me & the product I used during the week. Next week I'll be using one of the couture oils.

Don't watch the video if "eye things" gross you out.(it's not that bad) Just read the story.
A long time ago in a distant land, I pulled(strained) an eye muscle(trochlea, right eye). The exact moment is pretty messed up, but moving forward... That much isolated pain was outrageous to me.
So I studied the eye muscles.
The pain lasted about 4 weeks or so, weening down. Then it just stopped hurting & I was thankful.
Eye things freak me out but I'm super grateful for this video.
There are 6 muscles that help stabilize & rotate your eyeball. This seemingly minor injury effected the facial muscles on the right side of my face. Everytime I looked to the right pain just shot through my head. And I was really clenching my jaw.
Anyway, I thought the video was cool & wanted to share it(& justify my story😁)
It happened around the same time I started learning cupping therapy (2006) so of course I experimented on myself. Absolutely no cupping around the right eye (orbicularis oculi). The focus was from the cheekbone (zygomaticus) to the angle of the mandible angle (just under the ear). And also frontalis (forehead). The left side was not injured so there were no contraindications that I could think of.
My right eyelid is droopier than my left but that is a different muscle(superior something), it only raises the eyelid as compared to the 6 rotating the eyeball.
Every injury has a story. My body has many stories, I am not graceful🤩💃

What is a muscle?
How does a muscle work?
How many types of muscle are there?
"Ow! Is that a muscle?"?
Where do they attach?

A person says, "Ouch, I tore a hammy"(hamstring)
A massage therapist asks how long ago, which one, where exactly does it hurt, is the pain referring anywhere, how did it happen? That's just the start.
Does it hurt when you move?
The list goes on.

The hammy is probably a strain. Unless you felt/heard a pop, it REALLY hurt & you were not able to walk when it happened. It will be extremely weak & will bruise immediately. You will need medical attention & a real diagnosis.
Then you will need to rehabilitate the muscle with physical therapy, massage & cupping therapy. It will take you off your game & your comeback to 100% could take up to a year. (12 months)
Then you will blame that one incident for not doing other things in your life.
I have heard this story many times.

Or you could take care of yourself, preventative maintenance.
And maybe consider a practitioner who specializes in muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia. (soft tissue)
And has the experience, skills & products to treat you properly.
