We are deeply saddened by the devastating fire at the Saratoga Harness Track that claimed the lives of many beloved horses and destroyed a barn in our community. Reports indicate that dozens of racehorses were lost in this tragic event, leaving owners, trainers, caretakers, and the entire Saratoga horse racing family grieving.

Saratoga is a community built on a love of horses. They are woven into the history, spirit, and identity of our city. Today, we hold close everyone affected by this unimaginable loss.

Please join us in keeping the horses, their caretakers, trainers, owners, first responders, and all those impacted in your thoughts and prayers.

✨ One-Month Red Light Therapy Update ✨

I've been using red light therapy consistently for over a month, and I can honestly say I'm both seeing and feeling a difference.

What I've noticed:

What I'm feeling:

So why does red light therapy work?

Red and near-infrared light pe*****te the skin and are absorbed by the mitochondria—the "powerhouses" of our cells. This stimulates the production of ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is the energy source our cells use to repair, regenerate, and function optimally.

When cells have more energy available, they can work more efficiently. Research suggests this may help support collagen production, reduce inflammation, improve circulation, enhance healing, and promote healthier-looking skin over time.

If you're considering a red light device, here are the specifications I recommend looking for:

🔴 Red Light: 630–660 nm
🔴 Near Infrared: 810–850 nm
🔴 Irradiance: 20–50+ mW/cm² at treatment distance
🔴 Treatment Time: 10–20 minutes per session
🔴 Frequency: 3–5 times per week minimum (consistency is key!)
